About the job
  
Goods & Services is looking for a Staff Software Engineer who will develop and support integrated automation solutions. This individual will work in a team setting, working to automate the software delivery pipeline, cloud solution management, and create tooling to streamline and enhance the current automation workflows and help build new workflows for next-generation solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Automate in-house processes and develop custom tooling for CI/CD.
• Develop deployment automation using DevOps principles.
• Configuration Management for Cloud-based infrastructure.
• Cloud Infrastructure security.
• Contribute to the development of the internal development platform.

What you’ll need:

• BS in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud management.
• Configuration Management experience.
• Experience in software development for cloud-based applications and container-based solutions, such as Serverless and Docker Containers.
• Cloud development experience, including solid experience with AWS and basic knowledge of Azure.
• Experience developing in Go, JavaScript, and Typescript.
• Solid experience with front-end web development using React.
• Experience in automating software and deployment environments for CI/CD using Jenkins and/or GitHub.
• Experience in configuration management tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation. 

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS CDK.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AWS Serverless Applications.
• Ability to perform in a team environment with a task-oriented focus.
