GoodUnited is a business-to-business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company headquartered out of Charleston, South Carolina. GoodUnited serves nonprofit NGOs and has built the first fundraising platform for social networks.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Strategist  to join our remote team based in Colombia. The ideal candidate will have experience working with US-based companies, possess C1 level English proficiency, and have a strong background in developing content strategies that resonate with nonprofit organizations. You’ll be a key player in telling the GoodUnited story through long-form content, case studies, paid and organic social media, email marketing, and creative design.

This is a crucial role as we continue to grow and engage with nonprofits across social platforms. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing compelling content that supports our business goals and engages our nonprofit clients.

What does a Content Strategist at GoodUnited do? 

  • Collaborate with the CEO, CRO, and Growth Advisor monthly on GoodUnited’s content and webinar strategy.
  • Develop and implement an SEO strategy for all content and consistently optimize it for better reach and engagement.
  • Create two 2,500-word long-form, value-add informational content pieces with imagery every month, posting them on GoodUnited’s website.
  • Use GoodUnited’s proprietary AI system to create social content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, posting five times a week on each channel.
  • Boost every LinkedIn post to a pre-saved, qualified audience to maximize reach.
  • Plan and execute monthly webinars, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create two data-driven case studies with imagery every month, posting them on GoodUnited’s website.
  • Create quarterly direct messaging KPI reports (2,500 words) to highlight performance and insights.
  • Create and distribute bi-weekly email newsletters that highlight webinars, case studies, blogs, and direct messaging KPI reports.
  • Collaborate with a HubSpot contractor to turn website content into a lead acquisition channel.
  • Manage and optimize paid and organic social media campaigns, driving engagement and fundraising results for our nonprofit partners.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure content supports business growth and objectives.
  • Own and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and tools to enhance the company’s content marketing approach.

What experience and skills does a Content Strategist need in order to be successful? 

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably with US-based companies or nonprofit organizations.
  • C1 level English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Experience using Content Management & Marketing Automation tools (HubSpot, Webflow)
  • Experience using Design & Creative Tools (Canva ,Adobe) 
  • Experience with social media platforms(Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Proven experience in creating long-form content, case studies, email campaigns, and managing both paid and organic social media.
  • Strong understanding of creative design processes and ability to work with designers.
  • Technical background or experience working with SaaS products or technical content.
  • Experience using automations and workflow (Make.com, Airtable)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
