 About The Role

As the Senior Creative Producer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the production team on all brand, editorial, comment and product projects across goop, G Label, and goop beauty. The work will include internal budget tracking/reporting, external partnerships, rate negotiation with vendors/agencies, and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure optimum efficiency while keeping brand standards and creative direction top-of-mind. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members at all levels and departments within the larger org, including Operations, Legal, and Finance. 

  • Act as senior production lead for all brand shoot production and various editorial projects, including photo and video shoots, owning all processes including but not limited to: creating budget estimates, booking logistics [photographers, talent, styling, glam, external studios, etc.], managing shot lists/call sheets, and other tasks as needed.
  • Work closely with Fashion Assistant and/or Merch Ops to ensure all necessary products are received in time for shoot planning purposes; update details in monday.com accordingly; streamline processes to hit overall dock-to-live goals.
  • Support budget management for all shoot production and various editorial projects, including but not limited to: processing/coding invoices, tracking all expenses for monthly supplies, purchase requests, rentals, and maintenance/repairs, etc. 
  • Collaborate with Finance on monthly accrual submissions and ensuring timely payment to all outside vendors; Work on annual budget estimates/projections/actuals, etc. 
  • Partner with Legal in creating usage agreements for all shoots and supply any needed documentation or communication; act as point of contact for cross-functional e-commerce requests; maintain/update current SOW agreements with external vendors.
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure internal studio schedule efficiently covers all shoot needs (across all e-comm and editorial productions).
  • Manage monthly shoot calendar and pre/post-production timeline dates.
  • Oversee freelance crew roster, sharing new talent with creative team on a monthly basis; set-up in-house castings with LA-based agencies and present options to team on an alternating bi-weekly basis.
  • Work closely with Fashion/Creative Production teams to update style guides and ensure teams are upholding brand standards; train/support freelance crew in goop policies and procedures for any required pre/post-production tasks.
  • Partner with Post-Production Manager to ensure all post-production deadlines are met 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar function 
  • E-commerce and editorial shoot production experience required 
  • Experience as part of an in-house production team, with a preference for luxury/beauty/fashion experience
  • Strong project management and communication skills 
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently against tight deadlines 
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail 
  • Ability to partner well cross-functionally, ensuring all needs and deadlines are met 
  • Must be comfortable in a front-facing role and representing the company in dealing/negotiating with agencies, agents, and vendors (prior rate negotiation experience a must) 
  • Understanding of, and appreciation for the goop sensibility, brand, aesthetic, and mission. 

 FAQ 

  • Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 + Equity. This is a full-time, exempt role. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
