AI Use in the Hiring Process at GoPro

At GoPro, we’re driven by new perspectives—how our customers see the world, and how our team members shape it. Innovation is in our DNA, and embracing emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) helps us push boundaries and imagine the unimaginable.

As AI continues to evolve, it’s important that our hiring teams and candidates (that’s you!) share a clear understanding of how AI can be used responsibly throughout the hiring journey, and where it is not allowed.

We’re guided by our values, especially Be a Hero. Integrity. Always. That means we prioritize equity, fairness, transparency, and respect in everything we do—including how we evaluate talent. While AI can enhance efficiency (like refining communications or suggesting an interview schedule), it’s not a substitute for human judgment. All candidate assessments and hiring decisions at GoPro are made by people, not machines.

We also recognize that AI can be a powerful tool to help you prepare and show up confidently. Whether it’s organizing your thoughts or practicing interview questions, we welcome AI use that supports your authenticity—not replaces it. We want to meet the real you.

To help clarify what’s okay and what’s not, here are a few examples. This list is non-exhaustive and may evolve alongside developments in AI:

By applying to GoPro, you acknowledge our approach to AI use in hiring and agree to abide by the guidelines. If you have any questions or need support, please reach out to your recruiter or contact recruitingfeedback@gopro.com.
