The Underwriting Learning Experience Consultant is responsible for supporting the Personal Lines in the design, development and implementation of blended learning designs with a focus on digital learning to enhance the learning experience and improve the retention of learning context presented.

 

What you will do:

  • Partner with key stakeholders using the SAM Methodology to design and develop engaging human centric learning solutions to meet Personal Lines learning. This learning will align using Bloom’s taxonomy objectives  
  • Create digital and non-digital blended learning solutions using multiple modalities and managed within the LMS platform
  • Design and develop formative and summative assessments, quizzes, tests Level 1-4 on the Kirkpatrick’s Model
  • Progress Reports: Write assessment of participants learning performance for leadership reporting as part of hand off to operations  
  • Support the Business Underwriting reporting requirements through tracking of learning progress in the training dashboard
  • Responsible for ensuring process changes are reflected across all existing learning content
  • Responsible for updating the UW Agent (AI) for accuracy as required as part of knowledge management support  
  • Update or redesign SharePoint pages as required
  • Support communications in partnership with other team members 
  • Collaborate with SMEs to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with the specific needs of the business unit

 

What you need to succeed

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • CIP designation or working towards designation is  an asset.
  • Adult Education Certificate or Human Resource Management with L&D Experience
  • Instructional Design: 5-7 years of proven experience multi-modality digital instructional learning design and development 
  • eLearning Development: 5-7 years of experience using Articulate360, RISE 
  • LMS Platforms: 3-5 years’ experience using LMS platforms.  
  • Multimedia Development: 2-5 years’ experience (i.e., Canva, Powtoons, Adobe Creative Suite) 
  • Microsoft Suite: MS365, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook 

Location: Please note that this role operates in a hybrid environment, with two days a week expected in our Cambridge Ontario office.
