Lifecycle Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will drive the strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting of our full funnel lifecycle program(s). 

The objective of this role is to increase customer lifetime value by ensuring that every interaction with the brand remains relevant and engaging to our customers. This is achieved through personalized marketing strategies, timely communication, and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing email marketing communications, nurturing journeys, driving conversion rates, and engaging customers throughout their entire lifecycle. This role demands a strategic mindset, capable of delivering impactful campaigns from ideation through execution. This role is remote, however a close proximity to Orange County is required. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing and implementing comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies to nurture leads and retain customers:

  • Lead and execute lifecycle marketing strategies across the marketing funnel, including: consideration, conversion, onboarding, and retention.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain marketing automation operations – including engagement programs, behaviorally-triggered campaigns, email templates, customer lists – with the goal to drive revenue and customer engagement.
  • Develop lifecycle roadmap to systematically test into new customer growth opportunities.
  • Strategize, build and launch email and SMS marketing campaigns that foster and maintain a strong customer relationship at all lifecycle stages. This includes conceptualizing, building, deployment, testing, measurement and optimization. 
  • Segmenting gorjana’s customer base for more personalized, effective messaging.
  • Maintain pulse on industry trends and best practices, technologies, competitive landscape, etc. 
  • Build ad hoc lifecycle marketing campaigns based on the needs of the business as they arise.
  • Manage relevant tech stack, working with vendors and agency partners to ensure smooth implementation, operations, and reporting.

 

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create targeted campaigns for different stages of the customer journey:

  • Develop and partner with product /marketing to execute customer retention strategies and initiatives to increase customer loyalty and reduce churn rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in marketing, retail, product, finance to effectively scale gorjana's lifecycle program.

 

Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing initiatives to refine future strategies.

  • Analyzing customer data to personalize interactions and enhance customer experience.
  • Optimize existing automated lifecycle programs, including but not limited to abandoned cart, onboarding, upgrades, and win back.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of gorjana’s customer lifecycle journey through journey mapping, flow auditing etc.
  • Monitor and report out on campaign and program performance, while owning measurement, tracking accuracy, and KPI definition.
  • Enhancing the performance of email and SMS marketing campaigns, testing & responding as needed to improve open and click-through rates.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6+ years of experience in growth or lifecycle marketing, particularly skilled in email program management.
  • Marketing experience in the retail/consumer goods space
  • A comprehensive understanding of CRM and email systems
  • Strong analytical skills, with an exceptional capability to derive key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience in segmentation and conversion techniques, adept at quickly turning broad insights into effective actions.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable to feedback and results.
  • Must be over the age of 18 
  • Ability to be flexible to the needs of the business
  • Ability to work full time hours, with open availability
