Senior Associate - Financial Accounting Advisory Services
What You'll be Doing:
Our Accounting Advisory service offering is looking for an accounting superstar to provide expertise to a key client in a critical accounting function. You will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation/delivery of financial results. Your passion, knowledge and confidence will fuel a powerful experience that drives meaningful impact for our clients. Here are some of the key things you’ll be doing:
- Timely preparation of journal entries and account recs
- Completing daily and monthly accounting tasks
- Operating within effective internal controls and documenting procedures/results
- Key player in financial reporting process
- Analyze financial results and contribute to ad hoc requests
- Testing / UAT support for ad hoc project requirements
- Stay on top of current accounting guidance and policies through training and development
- As a consulting firm at our core, you will be trained in our consulting framework to provide enhanced value to the client beyond traditional accounting skillsets
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- 4-year degree in accounting
- Preferably 3-4 years of experience in accounting, financial consulting, audit, or a similar field where candidate developed skills in financial reporting and financial analysis
- The ability to understand, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP
- Professional demeanor; highly skilled in written and verbal communication
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills
- No problem leading meetings and taking ownership of large bodies of work
- Advanced MS Excel capabilities
Bonus Points:
- Active CPA license
- Public Accounting experience
- Insurance, Financial Services, or Bank experience
- Experience with a publicly traded company

The salary range for this position considers multiple factors influencing compensation decisions, such as skillset, previous experience, certifications, and various business & organizational requirements. Being hired at or near the top of the range for this role is uncommon, as compensation determinations rely on individual circumstances. Currently, the base salary range is estimated to be between [$70,000 and $110,000].
