About the Role

We’re looking for an exceptional Frontend Engineer to design and enhance the core platform that powers Vector’s intelligence engine. As part of a speed-obsessed, world-class engineering team, you’ll use your frontend expertise to build user experiences that define how our customers interact with the product.

What You’ll Achieve at Vector

• Build and Refine Frontend Systems. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend architecture using modern web technologies.
• Solve Complex Technical Challenges. Address problems related to state management, performance optimization, scalability, and frontend system design, leveraging AI where appropriate.
• Own End-to-End User Experience. Translate product requirements into intuitive, reliable, and polished interfaces that directly support customer success.
• Drive Iterative Product Improvements. Ship production-ready features in tight feedback cycles, continuously improving quality, usability, and reliability.
• Define Engineering Standards and Culture. Contribute to a high-velocity, high-standards team that values technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.
• Make a Lasting Impact. Partner with the engineering team to redefine how entrepreneurs build and operate software businesses.

We’d Love to Hear From You If You Are:

• Technically Excellent. You are a top-percentile engineer with 1–4 years of software engineering experience and strong proficiency in TypeScript and React. (Exceptional recent graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply.)
• A 0→1 Builder at Your Core. You are naturally inclined to create, prototype, and build new systems rather than maintain legacy ones.
• Biased for Action. You move with urgency, operate well in ambiguity, and don’t wait to be told what to do.
• Entrepreneurial with an Ownership Mentality. You take responsibility for outcomes, think in terms of impact, and make thoughtful tradeoffs independently.
• Obsessive About Craft. You care deeply about details, edge cases, and truly understanding the problems you work on.
• Ambitious with High Standards. You hold yourself to an exceptional bar and consistently push to grow beyond your current capabilities.
• Excited About Startups. You want to be early at a company where your work compounds, building alongside a close-knit team that supports one another.

While Not Required, It’s A Plus If You Have:

• Experience building AI-powered or large language model products
• Strong UI/UX or product design sensibility
• Leadership experience or meaningful side projects you’ve independently built

• Base salary range of $160,000–$200,000 depending on experience, plus competitive equity
