Job Description

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to help scale our customer base, drive user adoption, and expand our market presence. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will translate technical platform capabilities into mission-focused messaging and content, ensure consistency across all channels, and equip GTM teams with the resources needed to win and expand business.

The strongest candidates are exceptional writers and storytellers — able to translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value and craft compelling narratives that connect customer challenges to Ark's solutions and measurable impact. You must be highly organized with sharp attention to detail, excel at prioritization when managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and collaborate seamlessly across Product, Marketing, and GTM teams. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA.

This role may require up to 5% travel

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency of product messaging and positioning across all content and channels, partnering with Marketing to provide product messaging for integrated campaigns
  • Equip GTM teams with the resources needed to acquire, retain, and expand customers, including producing high-impact one-pagers and pitch decks that articulate Ark's value
  • Maintain and own the GTM resource library, ensuring all GTM and customer-facing teams have immediate access to the latest, most accurate content and collateral
  • Analyze the defense tech market landscape to produce competitor battlecards and win/loss insights
  • Partner with GTM teams to develop customer intelligence, including win stories and persona profiles
  • Drive end-to-end planning and execution of product launches, including cross-functional coordination, content creation for internal and external audiences, and GTM training to ensure readiness and drive adoption
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI/ML teams to translate technical capabilities and platform updates into clear mission benefits, gathering market insights to influence future product strategy 
  • Establish and track success metrics, analyzing engagement data to measure the impact of product marketing content and demonstrate how it drives user adoption
  • Act as a power user of Ark to deeply understand the user experience and identify opportunities to improve how customers discover and adopt new capabilities

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
Required Skills: 
  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent); Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • Current possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the willingness and ability to obtain one
  • 4+ years of work experience in a product marketing role within a B2B SaaS organization
  • Technical understanding of AI/ML capabilities
  • Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and translate technical concepts into customer value
  • Strong marketing foundation with proven experience in establishing software product positioning and captivating messaging
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders across the business
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on strict deadlines
  • Experience using or implementing customer communication and tracking tools, specifically Intercom, Planhat, and MixPanel
  • Proficiency with internal collaboration and design tools, including Google Suite, Slack, Confluence, Jira, and Figma
Desired Skills: 
  • Experience in or exposure to the national security, intelligence, or defense technology space
  • Experience in a startup or other entrepreneurial environment
