Company Description

Govini transforms Defense Acquisition from an outdated manual process to a software-driven strategic advantage for the United States. Our flagship product, Ark, supports Supply Chain, Science and Technology, Production, Sustainment, Logistics, and Modernization teams with AI-enabled Applications and best-in-class data to more rapidly imagine, develop, and field the capabilities we need. Today, the national security community and every branch of the military rely on Govini to enable faster and more informed Acquisition decisions.

Job Description

We are seeking an Account Executive (AE) to join the growing Sales team at Govini focused on International Government. The AE plays a critical role in supporting Govini's business by engaging with allied and partner nation governments - spanning Five Eyes nations, NATO member states, and other governments that share allied priorities - to position our technology, expand the sales pipeline, and drive international revenue.

In order to do this job well, you must be passionate about the shared security interests of the United States and its allies, and the role of technology in advancing more effective government. You are a natural relationship-builder who earns trust across organizational and cultural boundaries, and have a knack for translating client needs into actionable propositions that resonate with partner nation governments. You are passionate about the power of data to drive better-informed decisions across government. You thrive in ambiguity and have a competitive spirit where nothing but your best will do.

In this role, you will report to an executive-level Sales Leader and collaborate across the Marketing, Capture, and Delivery teams. A key requirement is domain knowledge and experience working within or alongside allied and partner government organizations. Sales experience is desired but not required. Govini will provide you with an exciting, fast-paced training program and regular mentoring to ensure new hires are set up for immediate and ongoing success.

This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA and may require up to 40% travel, including international travel.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and business opportunities across an international territory spanning Five Eyes nations (UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand), NATO member states, and security partner nations, working closely with counterparts across the Sales, Capture, Marketing, and Delivery teams
  • Develop a deep familiarity with the broad range of Govini offerings and how they can be used to solve acquisition, supply chain, sustainment, and modernization challenges faced by allied and partner government organizations
  • Gain a deep understanding of allied and partner government acquisition and procurement processes - including relevant sales pathways such as Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) - and ensure the right questions are being asked and answered throughout the sales cycle
  • Shepherd new business opportunities through the sales cycle, leveraging support from pre- and post-sales teams for expertise and collaboration
  • Exceed key performance metrics
  • Utilize our CRM (Salesforce) to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contacts, activities, and tasks

 Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Possesses a security clearance or is clearable
  • Bachelor's degree from a Top Accredited Institution

Required Skills:

  • Strong time and people management skills to marshal resources and advance opportunities
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, technical aptitude, and sales-oriented acumen
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively across different national and government contexts

Desired Skills:

  • 1-3 years of government or International Government sales experience, preferably with enterprise technology solutions
  • Domain knowledge, interest and/or experience working within or alongside allied and partner government organizations (e.g., UK MoD, Australian DoD/CASG, Canadian DND, NATO structures, or comparable partner nation entities), including military or civilian working experience within Five Eyes or NATO defense establishments, or in security cooperation and International Government roles.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), or other allied acquisition frameworks and procurement mechanisms
  • Domain knowledge in key Govini functional areas applicable to international government contexts - such as defense procurement, critical technology, industrial base resilience, or logistics modernization
  • Experience with Govini or adjacent software solutions for acquisition, logistics, or supply chain risk management
  • Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment
  • Foreign language proficiency - particularly French, German, or another NATO-member language - is a plus

We firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance.  If you thrive while building solutions to complex problems, are a self-starter, and are passionate about making an impact in global security, we’re eager to hear from you.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
