
Mental Health Therapist (LCSW or LCPC)
At North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Deerfield, IL, we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as a pediatric Mental Health Therapist (LCSW or LCPC). You will perform psychosocial assessments and contribute to the interdisciplinary plan of care by developing and implementing a plan of care/treatment plan that provides extraordinary care for the patient while being sensitive to costs and resources. We are looking for someone with weekday afternoon and evening availability, as most of our clients are school-aged children.

Our benefits:
- Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary based on a minimum of 28 hours of care a week, as well as a bonus plan of up to $8,000 annually based on efficiency & quality care metrics. Total compensation (base + bonus) for this role starts at $80,000 and is dependent on your years of experience and expertise.

Requirements
- You have a master's degree in social work or psychology and an Illinois state license in good standing.
- You have prior pediatric fieldwork experience

Your role as a Mental Health Therapist:
Our interdisciplinary approach means that you will collaborate with other Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Physical Therapists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and Neuropsychologists. As a member of our team, you will:
- Complete screenings, provide written assessment and ongoing reports throughout the course of treatment for pediatric clients, some screenings may happen outside of template hours
- Make appropriate cross referrals to other disciplines as needed
- Interpret medical reports and write appropriate treatment plans and formulate functional goals
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and advocate for client and family, as needed
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, such as doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
- Clearly explain behavior function, intervention, and treatment strategies to families

Total compensation is from $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
