Enterprise Account Executive

Seattle, Washington, United States

Gradial is a Seattle-based startup enabling digital experiences at the speed of thought. We empower marketers and creatives to implement their ideas directly, with software that adapts over time. Our platform automates website and design system updates, large-scale migrations to new design systems, and continuous content optimization while adhering to company and product brands.

Backed by world class investors and a recent Series A raise of $13 million—we’re looking to scale our platform and expand our team. At Gradial, we operate with extreme ownership, bias towards action, and critical path planning. We tackle problems from first principles, question assumptions, and find creative solutions. If you want to take risks, work on groundbreaking technology, and see the direct impact of your work, Gradial is where you belong.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to scale our category-defining technology to marketing organizations. Our platform automates complex web content operations using generative AI - enabling marketers to publish, update, and manage pages at scale without relying on engineering. As one of our first AEs, you'll be instrumental in shaping our sales strategy, refining our ideal customer profile, and turning interest from leading brands into long term partnerships.

This is a full-cycle, enterprise-facing role where you’ll own everything from initial outreach to close. You'll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success, and you’ll have the technical fluency to demo a highly capable AI system in detail. If you’ve sold marketing tech into complex orgs, have an instinct for finding the real problem and want to help build a generational company from the ground up, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close, including qualification, solution mapping, negotiation, and contracting.

  • Engage strategic accounts across industries with complex marketing operations, such as SaaS, ecommerce, and media.

  • Deliver high-impact product demos that clearly communicate Gradial’s value across CMS integration, workflow automation, and AI-powered content operations.

  • Translate technical features into business outcomes for multiple stakeholders, including Marketing, Web, Engineering, and RevOps teams.

  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer success to incorporate customer insights and refine our go-to-market strategy.

  • Develop and iterate on outbound messaging, ICP criteria and segmentation strategy in a fast-moving product-led growth environment.

  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities with precision, forecasting accurately and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

  • Travel as needed to meet with customers, build relationships and represent Gradial at relevant industry events.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in full-cycle enterprise sales, preferably at a high-growth startup or in a category-creating company.

  • Experience selling marketing technology or workflow automation platforms; familiarity with AI-native products is a strong plus.

  • Strong technical fluency — able to demo product functionality, speak to integrations and APIs, and navigate product-led environments.

  • Excellent consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover pain points, tailor solutions, and manage complex stakeholder dynamics.

  • Self-motivated and highly accountable, with a strong sense of ownership over pipeline, strategy, and outcomes.

  • Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments where playbooks are being built in real-time.

  • Willingness to travel for key accounts and events, based on business needs and deal flow.

Compensation

The OTE salary range for this position is $150k – $320k annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. This role will be eligible for performance-based bonuses in accordance with our Sales Incentive Plan and equity awards. Gradial offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental & vision insurance, 401K retirement plan, paid time off, paid sick leave and other employee wellness programs.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage
  • Fast-paced environment with flexibility and ownership
  • Real impact, zero bureaucracy
  • A front-row seat to building category-defining AI infrastructure

Gradial is dedicated to creating an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and all team members can grow. We offer competitive compensation, equity, flexible work hours, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative culture focused on learning and impact.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
