Role Overview
Gradial is seeking a Strategic Enterprise Vertical Lead to accelerate our growth in the Retail and Consumer Goods sector. You’ll define and execute our go-to-market strategy for a vertical where speed, scale, and brand consistency are mission-critical. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on selling—owning the playbook, driving marquee deals, and shaping how leading retail and consumer brands use AI to modernize digital experiences.
Responsibilities

Own the Retail & Consumer Goods vertical strategy—identify high-impact segments, develop account prioritization, and build a clear path from pilot to multi-brand adoption.

Lead the full enterprise sales cycle, from outbound prospecting through commercial negotiation and close, navigating complex decision structures across marketing, ecommerce, and IT.

Translate Gradial’s AI-powered content operations into measurable business outcomes such as faster campaign velocity, improved conversion, and reduced production cost.

Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to develop vertical-specific use cases, enablement assets, and proof-of-value frameworks.

Partner with Marketing to craft messaging, thought leadership, and event strategies that resonate with retail and consumer audiences.

Establish repeatable sales processes and KPIs to scale the vertical and enable future team expansion.

Represent Gradial at industry events and build senior relationships across digital, marketing, and ecommerce leadership teams.
Requirements

Demonstrated success in enterprise sales or vertical leadership within Retail, Consumer Goods, or Ecommerce, ideally at a high-growth SaaS or AI-native company.

Proven experience selling or implementing marketing technology, content operations, or automation platforms to large consumer brands.

Deep understanding of multi-brand structures, retail buying cycles, and digital transformation initiatives.

Strong technical fluency; able to explain integrations, APIs, and AI-driven workflows to both business and technical stakeholders.

Operates with high ownership, capable of defining strategy, managing pipeline, and executing autonomously.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable driving alignment across Product, CS, and Marketing.

U.S.-based, with willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
Desirable Attributes

Experience building or scaling a vertical GTM motion from early traction to repeatable growth.

Familiarity with retail content ecosystems, including commerce platforms, CMS/DAM systems, and digital experience operations.
The OTE salary range for this position is $300,000 – $380,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and equity awards.
