We are seeking an exceptional Senior VP of Sales to lead and scale our B2B sales organization during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for defining our Go-to-Market Process, coordinating Marketing/PR, establishing Sales Ops and executing our sales strategy while building and leading a high-performing team to drive sustainable revenue growth.

This is a remote role, with the expectation and requirements of significant travel to clients, prospects, partners, and our SF HQ. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy aligned with company mission and growth targets
  • Build, lead, and scale high-performing sales teams across enterprise and SME segments
  • Establish and manage channel partnerships in key growth markets including real estate, technology, and lifestyle/home sectors
  • Create predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales processes that drive revenue growth
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and integrated go-to-market execution
  • Collaborate with Executive Team and Engineering Leadership to determine overall Product and Company Strategy 

Team Development & Management

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent
  • Implement effective performance management systems and sales training programs
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve individual and collective targets
  • Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and mission-driven performance

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Drive company revenue goals through strategic B2B sales initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key strategic partners and customers
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles and support team on strategic opportunities
  • Develop and execute account expansion strategies with existing customers
  • Create and maintain metrics-driven reporting on sales performance and forecasting
  • Implements CRM Sales processes, Sales Ops Metrics and Reporting

Desired Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of B2B HW/SaaS sales experience with 4+ years in sales leadership roles
  • Proven track record of scaling sales teams (10+ people) in a high-growth environment
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions to enterprise customers
  • Strong background in developing and implementing sales strategies and processes
  • Demonstrated success in hitting aggressive revenue targets
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales technology stack
  • Significant Experience in selling to and operating in the private and public climate tech, cleantech, or sustainability sectors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in hardware sales or building technologies
  • Background in Behind the Meter and/or in Front of the Meter Energy
  • Knowledge in Energy Efficiency and Electrification and respective Policy Environment
  • Understanding of B2B2C business models
  • Experience working with Utilities, ESCO’s, Energy Engineers, Real estate developers and property managers
