Lead Software Engineer

Who You Are
We’re seeking a Lead/Principal Engineer for Gradle Build Tool with a proven track record of designing and building robust and high-impact systems as a part of a collaborative team. Our ideal candidate is deeply passionate about making other software engineers more productive and has experience in a similar role working on developer tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving delivery of major complex projects
- Designing and implementing innovative and technically challenging solutions
- Mentor and guide other engineers
Minimum qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Extensive experience designing and building software systems
- Deep expertise in Java and the JVM platform
- Excellent understanding of software design, architecture, and non-functional requirements
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
Preferred qualifications
- Experience developing and maintaining Gradle builds
- Experience programming in Kotlin or Groovy
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
