Senior Game Developer

You will play a key role in one of our largest projects, positioning yourself at the heart of the development process. You will be delivering high-quality code, while also providing mentorship to the team to ensure they produce clean, well-structured code. You will also serve as a key resource on gameplay systems, offering guidance and insights to effectively steer the team's efforts.

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual with extensive experience in end-to-end production and live operations. The ideal candidate accepts challenges and is committed to writing robust, high-quality code while contributing to the full lifecycle of game development. This role requires someone who actively engages in the creative process and has a proven passion for hands-on mobile game development.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a game developer.
  • Extensive expertise in various aspects of game programming, including gameplay, graphics, UI, tools, and other relevant areas.
  • Proven experience in mobile game development, with a track record of successfully shipping at least one product within a team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the Unity 3D game engine.
  • Strong proficiency in C# programming, with additional experience in other languages considered an asset.
  • Detailed understanding of the entire game project lifecycle, encompassing both development and live operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in modern version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent social skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • A goal-oriented approach, coupled with a strong ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to design, architect, and implement high-quality, structured, and maintainable code.
  • Proficient in independently crafting effective solutions to complex problems
  • Quick to learn and adapt to pre-existing codebases, demonstrating efficiency in integrating and enhancing them.

It would also be great if you...

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Game Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess a strong understanding or hands-on experience with the Free-to-Play model, Entity Component Systems (ECS), and optimization techniques.
  • Have a solid understanding of programming languages such as Python, Objective-C, Swift, Java, or Go.
  • Are proficient in unit testing, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), networking, backend integrations, and related technologies.
