Senior Network Engineer

Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan

Role Overview

As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in unifying two enterprise networks into a high-availability, zero-trust architecture. With a focus on Google Workspace migration, Okta identity integration, and SD-WAN modernization, this role balances design ownership with deep technical execution. You will play a key part in consolidating user identity, cloud networking, and secure access across a distributed team of 200+ employees.

Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Roadmap (LAN): Assist in designing and implementing a scalable, secure network across campus sites, cloud VPCs, and remote users.

Google Workspace Migration: Support domain consolidation, email and Drive transfer, and calendar migration across organizations using Google Admin Console and GCP IAM policies.

Okta Identity & Access Management: Configure Okta SSO, SAML/OIDC integrations, MFA enforcement, and lifecycle automation across SaaS applications.

SD-WAN / SASE Rollout (Cisco, Okta): Assist in deploying policy-driven SD-WAN using Cisco Meraki or Viptela; integrate with Okta for identity-aware segmentation and access.

Cloud Connectivity: Support resilient and secure cloud network design, including AWS/GCP Transit Gateway, Cloud Router, VPNs, and peering.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform, Ansible, or Python to automate network provisioning, enforce compliance, and reduce config drift.

Incident Response & Compliance: Troubleshoot P0 incidents with <1-hour MTTR. Assist in compiling evidence for SOC 2 and HIPAA audits.

Collaboration & Documentation: Work cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and Security to align network operations with broader architecture goals. Maintain accurate topology and access documentation.

IT Support: Provide IT support by resolving common technical issues, managing device setup and decommissioning, troubleshooting core systems such as Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
  • Experience supporting organizations of 200+ employees across multi-site environments
  • Proficient in Cisco technologies, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VPNs
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration and migration tools
  • Familiarity with Okta identity management, SSO, and SaaS integrations
  • Working knowledge of AWS or GCP networking (Transit Gateway, Cloud Router, peering)
  • Automation skills with Terraform, Ansible, or scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for L1-L3 incidents and cloud connectivity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of documenting changes and communicating across technical teams
