Location: Remote-first, North America-based. Atlanta or Toronto preferred.
We are looking for a hands-on senior DevOps engineer to help lead the modernization and automation of our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and observability systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using IaC tools to automate build processes, maintaining deployment pipelines, and introducing new functionality into our platform. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, a deep understanding of infrastructure systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
As a senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and modernization of our platforms, directly impacting the stability of our platform helping to drive success of businesses across the green industry.
As a DevOps Engineer you will
- Automate the build & deployment of applications in Azure and AWS.
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions, Terraform and Docker.
- Modernize legacy systems to leverage modern DevOps best practices.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions across different technical application stacks (C# .net, php, ruby, etc).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and services.
- Implement robust security controls with a shift left mindset.
Does this sound like you?
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure in a DevOps role
- Hands on experience with Terraform
- Experience with docker image and cloud container management
- Able to communicate design decisions and other technical information to an audience both inside and outside the Engineering team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a remote team environment
Preferred:
- Experienced with Datadog monitoring/alerting systems
- Azure SQL Database / MySQL performance tuning
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms
- Experience migrating or modernizing legacy systems
