Granum brings together three of the most trusted software names in the industry — LMN, SingleOps, and Greenius — into one powerful software ecosystem. The company's mission is to help industry professionals unlock their potential and achieve their most important goals, all united by the belief that its clients’ success is not just a milestone, but a shared mission.

As a team, we’re on a mission to reshape an age-old industry, and we’re looking for people who thrive on challenging and meaningful work. Our environment is highly collaborative, innovative, and supportive, with a shared commitment to having fun while making an impact. We live by our core values: We Before Me, Bias to Act, The Extra 1%, Accountable to Outcomes, Unconditional Transparency, and Forgiveness. If this resonates with you, we’d love to meet you and explore how you can help us build the future of the green industry!

Our culture and growth has been recognized with multiple awards, it’s a great time to join!

The reason behind the role:

This is a 14-month contract role to cover maternity leave.

As our People & Culture Specialist, you will be a highly accessible partner to employees and managers across the employee lifecycle — from onboarding through development, benefits support, policy questions, recognition, and offboarding.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can balance empathy with operational precision. You will keep day-to-day People Operations moving, improve the systems and processes behind the experience, and help turn People & Culture programs into simple, useful experiences for employees and managers.

As our People & Culture Specialist you will

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR systems, benefits, people programs, policies, and general People & Culture guidance.
  • Facilitate a welcoming, organized employee lifecycle experience, including pre-boarding, onboarding, employee changes, leave-related coordination, offboarding, and exit interview logistics.
  • Coordinate and continuously improve Granum’s onboarding experience, including the Granum 90 journey, new-hire communications, calendar coordination, manager enablement, systems readiness, and 30/60/90-day touchpoints.
  • Administer and maintain People systems, including Rippling, Lattice, and related workflows, records, communications, and employee resources.
  • Build, document, and improve scalable People Operations processes, replacing manual work with clear workflows, helpful documentation, and thoughtful automation.
  • Support benefits administration and employee education across the US and Canada, partnering with providers and internal stakeholders to resolve questions and improve the benefits experience.
  • Help maintain accurate, accessible, and up-to-date People & Culture information, including handbook content, policies, process guides, benefits resources, and an employee-facing source of truth.
  • Support compliance-related programs and communications, including required training, policy acknowledgements, pay transparency materials, and recurring compliance activities.
  • Support employee engagement and culture programs, including surveys, recognition, awards, employee communications, events, and initiatives that strengthen connection across a remote-first organization.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with sound judgment, confidentiality, care, and appropriate escalation.

What you'll own in your first 90 days:

  • Independently run the Granum 90 onboarding journey for new hires
  • Take over day to day administration of Rippling and Lattice, including employee changes and records
  • Handle US and Canada benefits questions directly, without escalating routine cases
  • Have at least one process or piece of documentation you've visibly improved

Does this sound like you?

If you have the following experience then this is a great role for you:

  • You can run US benefits administration independently and are able to answer employee questions with minimal ramp time
  • You've owned the employee lifecycle end to end, onboarding through offboarding, and can point to something specific you improved.
  • Experience supporting employees across more than one country or jurisdiction, especially the US and Canada.
  • You can walk into an HR technology you haven't used before and be productive within your first few weeks. Experience with Rippling, Lattice is a bonus.
  • Experience using AI tools in your day to day work, and comfort working in a company that expects it.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain policies, systems, and next steps in a warm, clear, practical way.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, especially when managing multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and confidential requests.
  • Sound judgment when handling confidential employee information and sensitive workplace matters.
  • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and move work forward while keeping the right people informed.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach and genuine care for the employee experience.
  • Comfort working in a remote-first, asynchronous environment with colleagues across teams and time zones.

A few ways to stand out, but not required

  • Experience designing or improving onboarding programs, HR self-service resources, or manager enablement tools.
  • Experience with HR workflow automation, documentation systems, employee communications, or AI-supported knowledge management.
  • Experience supporting benefits renewals, compliance programs, engagement surveys, recognition programs, or employee events.
  • Familiarity with the green industry, vertical SaaS, or a growing technology company.

Compensation:
