About the Role:

We seek a Talent Acquisition Specialist who has experience recruiting for Technology roles. The ideal candidate should have an acute sense of ownership over the recruitment process, come with strong time management expertise, have an aptitude for growth and learning, and possess keen intuition and follow-up skills.

Please note that this is a 9-month contract role with the possibility of an extension.

As a member of the Human Resources Team, you’ll:

  • Utilise various channels and tools to ​​identify and assess top talent across Technology, Trading and Middle Office functions
  • Review resumes and evaluate candidate applications, conduct pre-screening interviews, present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers, and guide candidates through the entire interview process
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand departmental functions and role requirements, and advise on recruitment strategies in order to enhance the effectiveness of recruitment efforts
  • Develop and manage relationships with recruiting search firms, both contingency and retained
  • Work within hiring timelines to negotiate with candidates and close roles
  • Offer value-added recruitment services such as market trend analysis, salary benchmarkings, job description optimisation, and recruitment process enhancements
  • Build recruitment dashboards for data and reporting
  • Contribute to ad hoc HR activities as required

We’d love for you to have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in full-cycle Talent Acquisition with an emphasis on technical recruitment
  • Experience with multiple sourcing channels such as passive candidate sourcing, cold calling and referrals
  • Experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, global fair employment acts and regulations
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills, with a flair for managing relationships
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work whilst handling short timelines
  • An understanding of the HFT industry, particularly its market dynamics, technology and trends a plus
