About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Trader to join one of our trading teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trades and monitoring the performance of our proprietary trading algorithms, working closely with our senior traders and developers to optimise trading strategies. The successful candidate should demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking. 

As a key member of the Trading Team, you’ll:

• Execute trades across multiple exchanges and trading platforms
• Monitor the performance of trading algorithms and make adjustments according to market conditions
• Work with developers to implement and test new trading strategies, and make incremental improvements to the algos
• Manage day-to-day trading operations
• Conduct pre-trade and post-trade analysis

We’d love for you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science or a related field
• Previous experience on a trading or algo desk
• Experience with high-frequency trading strategies and algorithms
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills 
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Performs well independently and collectively as a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
