About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Associate – Accounts Receivable (AR) – Restaurant Industry to join our accounting practice. This role is ideal for professionals with strong AR experience who can manage revenue cycles, ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate receivables across multi-location restaurant clients.

Key Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations for restaurant clients with multiple outlets/entities
  · Generate and process customer invoices, including franchise fees, catering, and other revenue streams
  · Record and reconcile daily sales data from POS systems and third-party delivery platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)
  · Track and apply customer payments (ACH, wires, credit cards) accurately
  · Monitor and manage AR aging reports, ensuring timely follow-ups and collections
  · Perform bank and payment gateway reconciliations
  · Handle chargebacks, refunds, and discrepancies related to online delivery platforms
  · Work extensively on QuickBooks Online (QBO), Restaurant365 (R365), and Xero for AR processing and reporting
  · Reconcile sales, deposits, and receivables across multiple locations
  · Support month-end close activities, including revenue recognition and accruals
  · Coordinate with restaurant operators and US stakeholders for dispute resolution and collections
  · Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements
  · Identify process gaps and drive automation and efficiency improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  · 3–6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  · Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Restaurant365, and Xero
  · Strong understanding of revenue cycles, POS reconciliations, and multi-location accounting
  · Experience with third-party delivery platform reconciliations is a plus
  · Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  · Ability to manage high transaction volumes and tight deadlines
  · Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  · Effective communication skills for cross-border coordination
