Nonprofits Account Manager

Grassroots Analytics (“GA”) maintains a detailed database on more than 20 million active American donors, including data on net worth, ideological preferences, political donation history, non-profit donation history, demographics, and contact information.
Grassroots Analytics is seeking a Nonprofits Account Manager to expand our impact and grow the number of nonprofit organizations using GA’s data and fundraising solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about nonprofit development, relationship building, and expanding a nonprofit’s impact locally, nationally, and internationally. The Nonprofits Account Manager will work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to identify new opportunities, cultivate relationships, and ensure our nonprofit partners maximize their impact.
Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding & Account Management (40%)
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new clients by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring all contractual and invoicing details are up to date.
- Proactively identify potential client hiccups and creative effective solutions to mitigate potential issues
- Use knowledge of nonprofit industry, trends, and news to recommend services and strategy for our existing clients, striving to maximize GA’s revenue goals as well as our clients’ output
- Maximize customer success through prompt responses and periodic follow up on your clients’ ROI
- Utilize project management software to maintain a living record of client status, communications, and needs, providing transparency across verticals.
Targeting & Engaging Clients (20%)
- Lead the strategy and prioritization of client targets, continually exploring new outreach methods to convert prospects into clients.
- Identify and attend key conferences, sponsorship opportunities, and other events to promote GA’s brand and increase awareness of our impact.
- Create and present sales pitch decks and proposals for prospective clients
Converting Interest to Sales (20%)
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of GA’s suite of services to confidently answer client questions and demonstrate how we can meet their unique needs.
- Present GA’s offerings with enthusiasm and clarity, effectively communicating the value proposition of our data-driven products and fundraising solutions.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring clients are connected to the appropriate product delivery teams.
Cultivating Relationships (20%)
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of GA’s suite of services to confidently answer client questions and demonstrate how we can meet their unique needs.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring clients are connected to the appropriate product delivery teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit development teams and firms who can provide ongoing referrals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to consultants and firms, showcasing the value GA can bring to their clients.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Nonprofits Account Manager role will:
- Have 1-2 years of experience in nonprofit development, digital fundraising and marketing, and/or political campaigns
- Be a skilled relationship builder with the ability to cultivate and maintain a broad network of consultants and clients.
- Experience with client management and/or lead generation
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions in an accessible manner.
- Be highly organized, capable of managing multiple accounts, and adept at using project management tools.
- Have a passion and commitment to racial, gender, economic, and environmental justice
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $50,000–$70,000, which includes base salary and commission. This role also comes with a competitive benefits package. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our office in Chinatown at 806 7th St NW, Washington, D.C. 20001.
