GTM Lead

Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Grassroots Analytics (“GA”) is a political tech company dedicated to breaking down barriers in fundraising for progressive campaigns and causes. To facilitate that work, GA maintains a detailed database on more than 20 million active, left-leaning American donors, including data on net worth, ideological preferences, political donation history, non-profit donation history, demographics, and contact information. Our overall mission is to use that data to amplify forward-thinking voices, causes, and people.

Grassroots Analytics is seeking a GTM Lead to join our team. The GTM Lead will collaborate closely with the Director of GTM and Product team to support campaigns and organizations through client onboarding and success, education and enablement, and outbound and conference-driven sales coordination.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about client relationships, digital fundraising strategy, and helping clients get the most out of GA's platform.

Responsibilities

Customer Success & Retention (35%)

  1. Own the client success lifecycle from onboarding through long-term retention, ensuring clients understand and maximize the value of GA's product suite.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for client support needs, resolving issues directly and escalating complex cases to the appropriate team.
  3. Track client health and satisfaction, proactively flagging churn risk and identifying expansion opportunities.

Client Education & Enablement (25%)

  1. Build and run webinars, trainings, and onboarding sessions that help clients adopt new features and best practices.
  2. Develop and maintain help videos, guides, and other self-serve resources that reduce support burden and improve client self-sufficiency.
  3. Translate product updates into clear, client-facing education content.

Email Outreach & Sales Coordination (25%)

  1. Own GA's product communications — strategy, execution, and performance measurement (open/response/conversion rates).
  2. Coordinate the logistics and pipeline for conference-driven and outbound sales efforts — managing scheduling, follow-up systems, and lead handoff — in partnership with the Revenue team.
  3. Continuously refine outreach messaging and targeting based on performance data.

Cross-Functional Product Feedback (15%)

  1. Synthesize client feedback, support trends, and market objections into actionable input for the Product team.
  2. Partner with the Director of GTM to refine positioning, messaging, and onboarding materials based on what's working (and what isn't) with clients.
  3. Represent the voice of the client in cross-functional planning conversations.

The Grassroots Approach

At Grassroots Analytics, our work is guided by the following principles:

  • Customer service is our core: Clients are always, without exception, treated with the highest level of professionalism and respect.
  • We model a high bar for performance: We operate with the best interests of both the organization and every client in mind.
  • We strengthen relationships at every level: Our "people first" approach builds trust with team members and clients alike.
  • Proactivity drives problem-solving: We look at the big picture to develop solutions, anticipate challenges, and prevent future setbacks.
  • Flexibility is essential: We adapt quickly as events change, take advantage of unexpected opportunities, and act decisively when needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the GTM Lead position will:

  • Have at least 3 years of experience across client success, account management, and/or client-facing digital strategy roles.
  • Have experience building and delivering client education content (e.g. webinars, trainings, video guides, or documentation).
  • Have experience owning an email marketing or outreach channel, including writing copy and reporting on performance.
  • Be comfortable coordinating cross-functional logistics (e.g. conference and outbound sales pipelines) without always being the one executing the pitch.
  • Be a clear, proactive communicator who can translate client feedback into product and process improvements.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in business, communications, political science, or equivalent practical experience in client success, digital strategy, or SaaS account management.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 plus benefits. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our office in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Candidates must be willing to work in-office.
