Production Intern

Gravity Well is looking for a Production Intern to join the team in the Summer of 2025. The internship is approximately 12-weeks and the exact dates will be determined based on the selected candidate’s availability and preference. Applicants should be actively enrolled in school and pursuing a degree with a graduation date of December 2025 - July 2026.
We are open to applications from international students who are in the US on an F-1 Visa, or similar. However, it is up to the applicant to understand the requirements and authorization process for off-campus employment. If you are a student here on a Visa, we recommend discussing your employment eligibility with your DSO before applying.

What You'll Do:
- Assist us in making a (still unannounced) game great
- Learn about game development on a team, get exposure to different styles of production and how they’re used to support different groups
- Support a cross-functional team with tracking, roadblock-clearing, and process help
- Work with a mentor to pitch and deliver process improvements over the course of your internship
- Learn how to work effectively in a cross-functional team in active development
- Give feedback on the game, game features, and playtests
- Communicate well when you are stuck, you want to brainstorm, or want feedback
- Help us be a better team
- Increase your love of making games
You Should Have:
- Sincere interest in & curiosity about video game development
- Experience with group work in an organization & facilitation role
- A presentation on a group project you worked on, with specifics of how you contributed to the project’s organization and momentum. This can be either a slide deck or a video of 5 minutes or less (concision is important!).
Bonus Points:
- Experience with group work in game development
- Experience with task- & project-management software (e.g. Jira, Asana, Trello)
- Conversant in another game development discipline (code, animation, design, etc)
- Experience with one or more project management practices
What You’ll Get:
- The standard base pay range for this role is $30.00 - $35.00 hourly.
- Gravity Well will provide temporary housing in Los Angeles for the duration of the internship.
- Airfare will also be paid by Gravity Well for your travel to Los Angeles and your return home at the end of the internship.
- Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
- Flexible work hours.
Where You'll Work:
- This position is located on-site at our office in Encino, CA. Candidates must be able to work in person for the duration of the internship.
