The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity if you want to be a key player in our Bot Ops (Software Robot Operations) capability division. You will be supporting, onboarding, and developing Robotic Process Automations. Prior experience in RPA and hyper-automation is good to have to excel in this role. We will work with you on your career goals as you grow with this team!

 

The Day-to-Day activities in this Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for -  

(1) Acting as a junior member of the Team on Day-to-Day Operations

  • Participate in daily scrums, help with the Bot Ops Board, and work on open tickets and other work items
  • Responsible for SLAs & flagging to the Bot Ops Manager when the client requires management
  • Participate in the onboarding of new clients. 
  • Work with the team to decide on an automation’s mandatory fix requirements
  • Participate in preparing and sending monthly and quarterly reports to stakeholders

(2) Supporting Automation

  • Troubleshoot automation issues using the information in incident tickets, UiPath Orchestrator, and logs
  • Communicate with stakeholders to determine the scope and impact of the automation failure
  • Determination of defect/enhancement, effort to resolve, and approach for resolving issues
  • Manage a backlog of fixes and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, escalating when needed
  • Implement and deploy updates to the automation

(3) Onboarding Automation

  • Assess automation’s readiness for being accepted into our support service, using a checklist, and existing documentation
  • Conduct code reviews to assess the automation’s robustness, identify gaps and areas to improve, utilizing Greenlight’s standards
  • Create a support “info sheet” that includes the allowed support actions for this specific automation, and business workarounds

(4) Enhancing and Developing New Automation (UiPath tools)

  • Take business requirements, current and future state process designs, and design automation flows
  • Develop or enhance existing automation using UiPath’s product suite
  • Test the automation in testing environments
  • Create / update required documentation (e.g., Solution Design Document (SDD))
  • Support the Operational Team(s) during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and rollout phases

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • 1-2 years of experience in troubleshooting automation issues using the information in incident tickets, UiPath Orchestrator, logs, and the team’s knowledge repository.
  • Experience with supporting RPA software; troubleshooting and fixing issues found in a production environment
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Superior communication skills- written and verbal (this is a client-facing role)
  • Experience with developing and testing UiPath automation (Good to have).
