The Opportunity
As an Automation Developer, you own end-to-end technical delivery of automation solutions. You design, build, and deploy solutions while actively contributing to client discussions about architecture, scalability, and design choices. You expand Greenlight’s technical maturity by creating reusable code libraries, accelerators, and advising clients on platform adoption. You also deepen your expertise in agentic automation and prompt engineering, applying these skills to improve solution quality and innovation.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions independently.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solution designs.
- Advise clients on platform scalability, design trade-offs, and technical best practices.
- Build and maintain reusable assets, libraries, and accelerators for the team.
- Mentor Automation Associates on technical delivery and documentation standards.
- Experiment with agentic automation design and prompt engineering to enhance delivery outcomes.
Key Deliverables
- End-to-end automation builds with supporting technical documentation.
- Reusable accelerators, libraries, and templates for cross-client use.
- Technical solution designs and architecture diagrams.
- Client recommendations for scalability, architecture, and governance.

- Deliver solutions independently with minimal rework and strong quality assurance.
- Strengthen client trust through technical credibility and solution stability.
- Increase team productivity by contributing reusable frameworks and accelerators.
- Apply advanced automation and AI-driven techniques to improve delivery impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in RPA or intelligent automation, with at least 2 years in UiPath development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Experience supporting production environments and handling automation incidents.
- Proficiency in documenting and communicating technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with AI, NLP, OCR, or ML integrations is an asset.
- Programming experience (e.g., Python, .NET, VB, JavaScript) preferred.
- Strong teamwork, time management, and client communication skills.

Compensation at Greenlight is determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, market benchmarks, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is $75,000–$100,000 CAD and may include base and variable compensation depending on the position. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, retirement savings options, paid time off, and wellness programs.
