About this role: 

We are hiring a Customer Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for building and executing a successful Customer Marketing function at Greenlight Guru. The ideal candidate is highly performance-oriented, is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences, has a proven track record of building programs that drive adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy success, and is excited by the possibility of using their experiences to come to build this critical function from the ground up. 

Your contributions and responsibilities:

  • Customer Marketing is a new function at Greenlight Guru. You will be responsible for meeting with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and customers to understand the current landscape. You will then develop and execute a comprehensive Customer Marketing strategy aimed at driving adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy.
  • Customer journey: work with CS to segment customers, map and deeply understand their journeys, and develop programs and campaigns to drive value and other key outcomes throughout their journey
  • Customer intelligence: gather and analyze customer intelligence; be an active participant as the voice of the customer in GTM and Product communication and feedback channels
  • Advocacy: partner with customers to develop case studies, testimonials, and success stories that highlight their achievements using Greenlight Guru solutions, ensuring that advocacy is deployed effectively throughout go-to-market activities
  • Metrics and reporting: monitor and track key customer engagement metrics, including customer retention rates, campaign effectiveness, and more, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Product launches: work closely with Product, Product Marketing, and CS teams to maximize the impact of product launches and the adoption of new offerings
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer success, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on customer strategies, feedback loops, and customer marketing initiatives

Your ideal qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Marketing for a B2B SaaS company
  • Demonstrated success in developing customer marketing strategies that drive a range of outcomes for the business, including adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy
  • You are passionate about creating great customer experiences but have a clear understanding of how those experiences align with and contribute to commercial outcomes
  • You are very performance-oriented and have strong data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster deep relationships with internal teams and customers alike
  • You are a self-starter who is adept at identifying and prioritizing opportunities to make an impact with customers
  • ABM experience (and success) preferred but not required
  • Salesforce experience required, HubSpot and 6Sense experience preferred
  • MedTech experience preferred but not required

This role will be located within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, OR Boston areas. The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000.  Actual base salary is determined by factors such as, but not limited to, experience, education, skills, and geographic location.  Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and equity.
