ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a sales professional with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to lead our Business Development team! With a team of 5 BDRs and reporting to our VP of Marketing & Ops, you'll be responsible for net new pipeline generation and help define our both outbound and inbound sales motion. You will: 

  • Identify high-potential verticals, strategic accounts, and growth opportunities
  • Use a first principles approach to continuously refine and optimize pipeline generation processes
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a new Business Development team, with a focus on hiring and training early-career professionals
  • Foster a culture of performance, accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration, with a focus on speed 
  • Integrate AI-driven tools to improve lead scoring and qualification, allowing for automated prioritization and real-time inbound triage
  • Meet or exceed performance targets by focusing on pipeline creation, opportunity conversion, and overall revenue impact

ABOUT YOU (SKILLS) 

  • You have 5+ years of sales or sales leadership experience driving new business ARR for a high-growth startup
  • You have experience exceeding the expectations of leadership and company plan by beating your targets and unpacking the root causes and variables that led to your team’s successes and areas of improvement
  • A proven record of 100%+of quota achievement as an individual contributor
  • You have a robust Salesforce analysis and reporting skill set and have detailed knowledge of SaaS tech stack including sourcing, prospecting, and outreach technologies
  • Must work in person from our HQ in Raleigh, NC

Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 on-target earnings based on experience
