Content Strategist & Copywriter

The Role: A strong point of view. A tight turn of phrase. An ability to bring structure and storytelling to everything from product pages to emails to brand campaigns. Our Content Strategist & Copywriter is equal parts thinker and doer—responsible for building the brand voice across all consumer touchpoints. 

This person will collaborate closely with brand, creative, DTC, PR, and product teams to translate strategy into words that drive connection and conversion. You’ll write the campaigns, the headlines, the emails, the collateral—and partner on content ideas that educate, engage, and inspire across the funnel. As our Content Strategist & Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for building and evolving our brand voice, translating strategy into standout storytelling across every single consumer touchpoint. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain brand voice guidelines and storytelling frameworks 
  • Write copy for landing pages, product descriptions, email campaigns, ads, packaging & more 
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product leads on campaign concepts 
  • Brainstorm and develop original content that breaks through a crowded space 
  • Translate technical product info into consumer-friendly, benefit-driven storytelling 
  • Optimize written content for clarity, tone, and conversion 
  • Pitch and develop content for all channels across the funnel including social, influencers, and more 
  • Edit and proofread all outbound copy for accuracy and voice alignment 
  • Bring creative thinking and conceptual firepower to cross-channel initiatives 

 

Qualifications  

  • 5+ years in content strategy and copywriting, ideally in CPG, wellness, or lifestyle brands 
  • Portfolio that demonstrates range—long-form, short-form, DTC, brand, product storytelling 
  • Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and tone 
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments 
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset 
  • SEO, storytelling, and conversion copywriting chops a must 

 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional core teams and strong personalities 
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment 
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information 
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb 
  • Must have a solid understanding and/or come to master Hemp compliance rules and regulations set forth by each State 
  • Must pass any and all required background checks 
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry 

 

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$75,000 - $90,000 USD
