Customer Supply Chain Manager

The Role

As more Americans turn to cannabis for well-being, we are looking to grow our team to help us bring additional safe, trusted products to even more consumers and channels across the country. The Manager, Beverage Customer Supply Chain will be a key player in expanding our THC-infused beverage business to ensure the availability of our beverages nationwide.

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Manager to spearhead the growth of our portfolio of brands led by Señorita, an award-winning hemp-derived THC beverage brand in a rapidly emerging market. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. The ideal candidate is resourceful, driven, and eager to lead an industry leading customer supply chain team from the ground up. This role offers significant growth opportunities as the business expands. However, the individual must be comfortable taking a hands-on approach, actively engaging with distributors, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for order-related inquiries, delivery issues, and service escalations, driving rapid resolution and clear communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners and 3PLs, ensuring expectations are managed and exceeded at every stage of the fulfillment process.
  • Develop and implement customer service SOPs to ensure consistent, high-quality support and accountability across all order touchpoints.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance) to support order invoicing, credits, returns, and other post-delivery issues.
  • Build tools and systems to track and report service performance, creating visibility for internal teams and external partners.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of hemp beverages across multiple states and regions.
  • Proactively identify operational gaps or inefficiencies and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve systems, data flows, and service capabilities.
  • Build tools and systems to track KPIs such as aging orders, inventory freshness, weeks of supply, TONUs, etc.
  • Partner with sales, supply planning, and transportation to align supply chain execution with business goals, seasonal demand, and/or promotional programs.

Demand Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with the sales, e-commerce, and marketing teams to align on a consensus demand forecast.
  • Review market demand forecasts against inventory levels and flag any imbalances to ensure demand is appropriately met.

Qualifications

  • Proven Supply Chain Experience: 4+ years’ experience related to supply chain, order fulfillment, customer service and/or demand & supply planning; preferably in the alcohol/beverage industry
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or related degree preferred
  • Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required. Preferred experience Tableau, SQL/MS Access, and other planning tools
  • Resilience & Resourcefulness: Adjusts quickly to shifting priorities, evolving compliance requirements, and/or demand fluctuations
  • Core Skills: Skilled at analyzing data points & reporting in all forms, structuring processes, and managing expectations with senior stakeholders
  • Intangibles:
    • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
    • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Travel: Up to 25%
  • Location: Chicago - Hybrid remote/ in office 2-3 days/week

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$95,000 - $115,000 USD
