Digital Marketing Specialist

The Role 

We're seeking a qualified Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on digital marketing activations across paid search, paid social, and programmatic media channels. The ideal candidate will be adept in crafting and executing paid media campaigns that enhance brand visibility, engage customers, and drive sales, all within the cannabis industry's regulatory framework.  

Responsibilities 

  • Develop, activate, monitor, and optimize campaigns across paid search, paid social, and programmatic channels to meet or exceed KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and CVR 
  • Serve as a programmatic subject matter expert, advising on best practices in buying strategies, creative, data integration, measurement, and optimizations to maximize campaign performance 
  • Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using data to inform strategic decisions and improve results  
  • Partner with creative teams for high-impact ad creatives and landing pages 
  • Work closely with our Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist and collaborate with market leaders to gain insights for crafting market-specific campaigns 
  • Conduct A/B testing and other optimization strategies for campaign improvements  
  • Build and maintain relationships with digital media vendors and platforms  
  • Ensure compliance with cannabis industry regulations in all digital marketing activities 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and digital marketing advancements 

Qualifications  

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing (agency environment preferred), with proven success managing paid social, paid search, and programmatic campaigns 
  • Proficient with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google/Bing Search Ads, Meta/Instagram Ads, DSPs, Mixpanel, Unbounce) 
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with reporting and data analysis  
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving industry 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field is preferred but not required  

Additional Requirements 

  • Must pass any and all required background checks  
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry  
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age 

 

#LI-HYBRID 

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$65,000 - $80,000 USD
