We are seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to join our team for a 4-month contract in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will provide vital support to the People & Culture Department and contribute to the smooth operation of our office during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. The target start date is January 5th, 2026. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing multiple priorities, we would be delighted to receive your application.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform front office receptionist duties while maintaining a professional and organized reception area and common spaces.
- Assist with shipping, purchasing, and label creation tasks.
- Prepare and process expense reimbursement reports for managers efficiently.
- Organize and schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and take notes as required.
- Support recruitment logistics, including interview scheduling, room setup, and catering arrangements.
- Assist with new hire orientations and team luncheons.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed.
- Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of managing competing priorities effectively
