
Chargebacks Specialist

Position Summary:
The Chargeback Specialist is responsible for leading the chargebacks department in receiving, reviewing, investigating, and recommending a course of actions for chargebacks received from customers and reporting on chargeback analytics. The Specialist will be responsible for assigning and reviewing 8Ds, as well as maintaining and distributing all Salesforce data to the necessary parties.
Overview of position includes routine reviewing and receiving scorecards and chargeback reports, making necessary adjustments and communicating with internal customers for a timely resolution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research/ obtain all necessary documentation from SAP, WMS, customer portals and logistics partners.
- Ability to investigate, root cause, and solve problems.
- Ability to learn and retain compliance policies and procedures from multiple avenues.
- Must have well developed organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective issue identification and resolution skills.
- Ability to multi-task in an efficient, thorough, and prioritized manner, working quickly and independently on assigned tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Participate in department meetings and problem-solving sessions, providing updates on metrics and different initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or relevant qualification
- 1-3 years’ experience in an inventory control related role
- Proven understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processes
- Strong analytical, root cause, and problem-solving skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Access, or other related software tools.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic fast-paced, changing, and demanding work environment.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Working knowledge of SAP B1, Manhattan WMS, SAP EPW
- Associate’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
