Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in the growth, development, and sales within the Professional Products category at Greenworks Tools. This position will be responsible for development and sales within the Dealer channel market.  This position will be responsible for the GW field sales team to ensure coordination and success of these assigned resources.  This position will be responsible for the gross and net sales targets for each of the assigned western states.  They will also be responsible for the overall sales and administration budget for the assigned region.

This position will also work with product management and marketing to be the voice of the customer within existing and new product development.  This key role will also be the interface within the marketing group to ensure the correct development of all points of purchase, social media, and other printed materials needed within the channel.

The successful candidate will have strong industry knowledge of the professional handheld and wheeled outdoor power equipment business.  Candidate should have a good understanding of the channels listed within the job requirements and the necessary sales skills to be successful within these customer bases.  Candidates should have experience understanding the independent servicing dealer and their role within the channel. 

The ability to work independently and maintain relationships with business stakeholders will be critical to the success of this role.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of this business segment and the achievement of assigned goals and objectives.
  • Prospecting, lead generation, and acquisition of new accounts for Greenworks’ distribution within these business areas.
  • Lead role within tradeshows and key marketing events within the channel.
  • Work cross functional with other department such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure the success and customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, Business or another related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working within an OPE or OPE Parts Manufacturer.
  • 5+ years of field sales experience within an OPE or OPE Parts Manufacturer.
