Position Summary:
The HR Manager has a vital role in managing employee-related functions, supporting HR processes, and ensuring smooth operations within the HR department. The coordinator will support a fast-paced business that consist of professional offices, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities throughout the North American region.
This role will have experience with recruitment, scheduling, recruiting and overseeing contingent labor relationships. As a coordinator you will help facilitate various human resource processes, answering any questions employees may have regarding policies. As the main contact for contingent suppliers, you will coordinate onboarding/off boarding and be a liaison for vendor communication that aligns with company expectations.
Key HR Responsibilities:
- Assist with the hiring process by posting job vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires.
- Facilitates the drug and background screening process, monitors status, and provides feedback on potential new hires to Talent Acquisition team.
- Conducts various training seminars (OSHA, forklift, first aid, etc.) including new hire orientation while maintaining an accurate record of attendees for compliance.
- Follow procedures and record keeping practices that follow Department of Labor, EEOC and federal/state employment laws; ensure proper federal/state posters and communications are easy for employees to find and review.
- Develops and executes companywide emails and communications in a professional and objective manner when necessary.
- Must be highly organized to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Focuses and supports the company strategy and goals in daily work and productivity.
- Executes daily tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
- Maintains a positive employee engagement environment through various means of events and communications with employees.
- Discrete and professional understanding of confidential information with employee records, employee relations complaints, financial data, and company information.
- Ability to manage conflict well to address and resolve issues occurring between employees.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Technical proficiency with HR software: ADP, ATS programs, background screening and salary platforms, etc.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft word suite (Word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Tracking and reporting metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively interacting with employees and management.

- Understands federal and state employment laws and applies those to daily work.

Qualifications Required:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience of 5-7 years
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word)
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and have full range of motion.
