Position Summary: 

The Content Creator and Editor is responsible for extensive video editing along with photography and video production in collaboration with the creative team. You’ll bring professional experience and technical expertise to offer creative solutions that meet our imaging and production goals. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor who is highly proficient in Final Cut Pro to join our in-house production team. This role is responsible for editing compelling, brand-driven video content across marketing initiatives including product videos, social media campaigns, customer testimonials, case studies, internal communications, and promotional content. The ideal candidate has a strong storytelling mindset, understands pacing and visual composition, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can efficiently manage multiple projects while maintaining high creative standards. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the creative and production team to produce content 
  • Develop storyboards to align with brand to bring the vision to life - develop shot lists for camera crew 
  • Shoot videos and photos showcasing the Greenworks products and solution  
  • Uploads and manages photos and videos for easy retrieval 
  • Provides fast turnaround of assets for web, social media, and news media requests.  
  • Assist with generating content for social media 
  • Ability to absorb and respond to creative feedback 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project perspectives 
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment where functioning autonomously and collaborating as part of a team are equally important 
  • Strong understanding and skill set of photography, videography, image library, and storage systems 
  • Some local and regional travel required 

Video Editing 

  • Edit high-quality video content using Final Cut Pro. 
  • Assemble raw footage into polished, engaging stories that align with brand standards. 
  • Edit product videos for websites, retailer PDPs, social media, and digital marketing campaigns. 
  • Produce short-form and long-form content optimized for various platforms. 
  • Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, lower thirds, and transitions. 
  • Perform basic color correction, color grading, and audio mixing. 
  • Deliver projects in multiple formats and aspect ratios. 

Required Education and Experience:  

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred (not required) 
  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience 
  • 2-5 years’ experience in video and/or photography digital content production, and product photography Video/Photography field experience preferred. Strong portfolio of work. 
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques. 
  • Experience with color correction and audio cleanup. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience editing marketing or commercial content. 
  • Basic motion graphics experience using Apple Motion or Adobe After Effects. 
  • 3-D and animation capabilities a strong plus 
  • Experience editing interviews, testimonials, and documentary-style content. 
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media best practices. 
  • Understanding of product marketing and e-commerce video requirements.
