Mooresville, NC

Job Title: Content Creator: Video & Photography Production

Title of Supervisor: Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager

Job Location: Mooresville, NC

Company Website: www.greenworkstools.com

Company Summary:

As a rapidly growing global manufacturer of residential and commercial products, Greenworks is leading the charge toward a more powerful and sustainable future. With over 20 years of research and development, including over 1000 patents in outdoor power equipment, power tools, and lifestyle products, we’re pushing the limits of what battery technology can do to improve the quality of work and life.

 Position Summary:

We're looking for a content creator who doesn't just follow where content is going but helps take it there. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who can shoot, edit, and think like a marketer. One day you're capturing clean product imagery for retailer PDPs, the next you're filming a trend-driven Reel on a job site, and the next you're pitching the concept for our next campaign.

You'll collaborate closely with our creative, marketing, and production teams, and you'll also be trusted to take a project from first idea to final cut on your own. If you're a self-starter who's always experimenting with new styles, tools, and formats, we want to see your work.

Responsibilities:
Create and Lead

  • Bring fresh ideas to the table and help lead marketing campaigns from concept through execution
  • Develop concepts, storyboards, and shot lists that bring the brand vision to life
  • Own projects end to end when needed: ideation, planning, production, editing, and delivery, working solo or directing small crews
  • Stay ahead of trends in shooting styles, editing techniques, formats, and platform algorithms, and bring new approaches to the team before they're everywhere

Shoot

  • Shoot video and photography showcasing Greenworks products in the studio, in the field, and on the road
  • Capture everything from polished product and e-commerce assets to scroll-stopping social content, customer testimonials, case studies, and event coverage
  • Travel to shoots, trade shows, dealer events, and customer job sites

Edit

  • Turn raw footage into compelling, brand-driven stories with strong pacing and visual composition
  • Edit product videos for greenworkstools.com, retailer PDPs, social media, and digital campaigns
  • Produce short-form and long-form content tailored natively for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and web
  • Incorporate music, sound design, graphics, lower thirds, and transitions
  • Handle color correction, color grading, and audio mixing
  • Deliver in multiple formats and aspect ratios with fast turnaround for web, social, and media requests

Organize

  • Upload, tag, and manage photo and video assets for easy retrieval across teams
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders while keeping creative standards high

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5+ years of professional experience shooting and editing video and photography, including product photography
  • A strong portfolio that shows range, from polished commercial work to fast, native social content, including at least one project you owned from idea to final cut
  • Expert editing skills in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (Final Cut Pro preferred, with willingness to work in our Final Cut workflow), plus color correction, grading, and audio cleanup experience
  • A strong storytelling mindset and a creative voice you can turn into clear, executable concepts
  • Self-starter energy: you don't wait for a brief to start solving problems
  • A fast learner who's excited by new tools, including AI-assisted editing and production workflows
  • Comfort working autonomously in the field and collaborating with internal and global teams
  • Ability to absorb creative feedback and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel, with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends around shoots and events
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, not required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Motion graphics in Apple Motion or Adobe After Effects
  • 3D and animation capabilities
  • Experience editing interviews, testimonials, and documentary-style content
  • Understanding of product marketing and e-commerce video requirements
  • Drone experience (FAA Part 107 a plus)
  • German, Chinese, or Spanish language skills

Technical Skills:

  • Required: Expert proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; audio editing; color correction and grading; file organization and media management
  • Preferred: Final Cut Pro, Apple Compressor, macOS workflow, Apple Motion, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Frame.io or similar review platforms, cloud collaboration tools (Dropbox, Google Drive)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k company match plan
  • Paid sick, personal, and vacation time
