We are seeking a passionate, outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join our close-knit Growth team here at Grey London. The role of New Business Manager is a pivotal position in our studio, as you will be at the heart of our new business efforts, partnering with the Head of Growth and collaborating with leaders of the business to help win exciting new clients and propel our agency forward.

This is a high-impact role for someone who is self-motivated, driven, collaborative and is fueled by being hands-on. You’ll have the chance to hone & stretch your skills with a diverse remit of responsibility - from implementing our new business strategy, building rapport & relationships with intermediaries and across the network, and helping execute our marketing & communications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partnering with the Head of Growth to successfully develop & deliver the agency’s annual new business strategy PR and Marketing strategy.
  • Elevate and maintain the studio’s new business contact database, whilst managing our pipeline tracking & reporting within SalesForce.
  • Drive outreach strategies and identify key targets for business development, preparing relevant materials to support with initial contact & lead gen.
  • Ensure all new leads are qualified using clear criteria, with appropriate communications & next steps to follow.
  • Liaise with internal teams to create case studies, award entries, marketing collateral and social assets that showcase the best of Grey and our people.
  • Support with the creation of company credentials for new opportunities and relevant pitch collateral.
  • Responding to initial requests from prospective clients.
  • Own the RFI library, ensuring it remains up to date with the latest agency information.
  • Ensure Grey’s profile remains up-to-date and engaging on key 3rd party websites, such as Creative Brief and the IPA.
  • Leading on the collation & preparation of the information required for completing detailed Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Supporting the Head of Growth in PR activity and managing Grey’s external PR team.
  • Maintain a pipeline of new work and news that can be used for marketing & PR activity and to drive Grey’s reputation.
  • Keep abreast of industry and cultural news, suggesting proactive ideas to maximise Grey’s exposure.
  • Supporting the agency pitch teams throughout the process; sharing relevant case studies and agency information, setting up job numbers and pitch budget, ensuring compliance documents are completed and shared with the Head of Growth and CFO for review.
  • Collaborating with Group and Network stakeholders across both Grey Global and WPP on delivery/information gathering in connection to shared new-business opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, with a strong track record and passion for building successful relationships.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from various backgrounds.
  • Natural networking abilities, with a genuine passion for meeting new people and nurturing relationships.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Excellent presentation & pitching skills.
  • High levels of enthusiasm and energy, with a positive attitude that inspires and motivates others.
  • Able to write clear and concise copy with creativity and flair, articulating Grey’s offering.
  • Curious in developing and maintaining current knowledge of the advertising landscape and competitive activity.
  • Understand the Grey "brand" and our products and services.
  • Highly organised and able priortise workload.
  • Process driven and able to work to deadlines.
  • Able to build strong relationships to effectively collaborate across the agency.
