THE ROLE:
As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in creating and delivering visual content for our print and digital projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams to design aesthetic and functional visuals suited to various formats (websites, apps, social media, newsletters,e-detail aid, print and conference assets etc.).
It’s an exciting time to be joining Grey and Tank, as we’re growing the team based in the London studio. You’ll report into a Senior member of the Creative team, joining a creative, globally-minded team surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creative Design: Develop and adapt a variety of visual assets, including digital and print materials, advertising content, social media graphics, brochures, presentations, and more, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with our brand and campaign goals.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) as well as other relevant design tools for creating high-quality graphics.
- Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and designs are delivered as specified. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
- Production: Develop concepts/products from initial idea to final product. Pre and post production quality checks.
- Quality Control: Review designs for accuracy, quality, and consistency. Ensure that all files are correctly formatted for production and meet industry and agency standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, art directors, writers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet or exceed expectations. Be open to feedback and ready to revise designs as needed.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team, especially in the health and wellness field.
- Interpersonal Skills: Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Organisation: Keep files and projects organised for easy access and transfer. Maintain a systematic approach to managing tasks, deadlines, and project priorities.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in advertising or sectors related to health and wellness.
- Expert knowledge in graphic production process.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), PowerPoint, and other design software.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a mix of creative and executional examples of work, showing the full range of work from end to end.
- Detail-oriented mindset, exceptional organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and excellent time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate & present creative concepts.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Flexibility and openness to change, including new ideas and ways of working.
- Patience and tenacity as you balance multiple requests and occasional shifts in priorities.
- Able to work both independently and and collaboratively with people across all disciplines within the studio.
- Knowledge of health and wellness industry trends and practices is an asset.
