POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Project Manager has the primary responsibility to coordinate the execution of all projects (TV, Digital, Print, Mobile, etc.) for all assigned brands. This position is the hub of communication for the team regarding all project deliverables and is a core function within the Project Management team. It is a leadership role focusing on multi-channel planning and delivery, responsible to collaborate with discipline leads across Grey’s capabilities to develop complex integrated work plans (scope, timing, and resources), and will successfully lead the execution of agency services across long-term client engagements.
The Senior Project Manager is an enthusiastic problem solver and thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project. As the key point of contact for both the client and the project team, the Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of an engagement. You will be responsible for projects with budgets between 1-4mm and ensuring that the team delivering the work has everything they need to make Famously Effective work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans, as well as multi-channel, tactical planning, and business roadmap development
- Manage schedules, budgets, scopes, assets, capacity planning, change management and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
- Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals.
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
- Develop timelines with input from relevant departments.
- Manage production vendors and agencies.
- Update timelines based on client and/or internal changes, keeping accurate timelines throughout the life of the job.
- Consistently identify needs which clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
- Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.
- Assist in the development and tracking of integrated project plans alongside the Project Director.
- Remind team members of upcoming due dates and alert the key partners should if dates shift along the life cycle of the task.
- Review weekly estimates v. actuals and submit accurate timesheets daily.
- Coordinate and run weekly status meeting and provide day-to-day project status to the team.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Proven project management, time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks
- High level of language and communication skills
- Previous management experience
- 5-7 years’ experience within Advertising or related field
