About the Role
The Senior Strategist leverages industry knowledge to provide key insights and strategic recommendations for positioning a client's business/products. They will collaborate with the client and internal stakeholders to develop positioning and messaging strategies and are responsible for providing input throughout the creative development process to ensure all client deliverables are “on strategy”. The Senior Strategist helps define key performance indicators and measurement for programs Grey delivers to ensure that strategies and tactics deliver against client goals and objectives and provide expected returns.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the strategy & brand vision internally and externally
- Develop clear and inspiring creative briefs and an extensive point of view for new business and current clients
- Work with the Strategy Director and Group Strategy Director in brief development, new business pitches and department initiatives
- Partner with Creatives to concept, explore and push the work
- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research via focus groups, brainstorming sessions and one-on-one interviews
- Can design for effectiveness and implement measurement strategies
- Collaborate across disciplines and hierarchies
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years’ strategy experience in a creative advertising agency preferred
- Ability to manage scenarios where on the spot, critical thinking is necessary
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive mindset; cares about the details and follows through
- Well informed on cultural and social trends relevant to clients; experience with LATAM markets helpful
- Is current on industry, customer and competitor information and integrates those insights into strategic recommendations
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$60,000 - $140,000 USD
