POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking to add a Senior Planner to our team who will be responsible for understanding our clients’ markets, competition, and target audience insights. You will partner with senior team members to translate those insights into actionable brand strategy. You will work in a continuous effort to develop a strategic skill set to uncover the most compelling insights in which to differentiate a brand in a compelling perspective, constantly pushing to make Famously Effective work. You will be directly supporting one or two Planning Directors or Group Planning Directors and expected to manage multiple (at least three) work streams at a time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop an immersive understanding of your brand’s market dynamics, customer mindset, competitive environment, brand goals, and industry trends to deliver insights that will inspire creative teams and develop a meaning marketing impact for our clients.
- Develop strategic deliverables that include, but are not limited to competitive analysis, brand positioning, creative core idea, market research synthesis, creative brief, workshops, and brand plans
- Uncover key customer market insights as the basis for strategies and communication, which change perceptions and influence behavior to create a competitive advantage
- Articulate insights, partnering with Data Strategy, to lead with a point of view for team discussion
- Lead brand and creative strategy development including positioning, targeting, and creative brief
- Craft well written insight strategy presentations for new and existing business with an ability to analyze, reflect, distill, and story-tell
- Develop, direct, and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research that answers key questions and provides fodder for insight identification
- Work cross-functionally within the agency to ensure the successful and innovative execution of approved strategies
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert within the agency, with clients, and within the industry at large
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High level of language and communication skills
- Ability to know a great idea when you see it, and the desire to learn how to make it better
- 3-6 years in advertising or related industry
- Experience crafting work for HCP audiences

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Pay Range
$60,000 - $140,000 USD
