About the Position
Groome Industrial Services Company is seeking a Foreman who will perform various general manual labor tasks.

Key Responsibilities
The Foreman is required to have a willingness to learn and perform a variety of trades and specialty skills in the industrial cleaning industry. This will include, but not limited to:
- This is a 100% travel job.
- Oversee and direct the work of construction workers, machine operators, or other personnel.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct safety meetings and inspections.
- Allocate materials, equipment, and labor effectively. Order supplies and ensure they are used efficiently.
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure it meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Liaise between workers, subcontractors, and project managers. Provide clear instructions and resolve any issues or conflicts.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. Prepare reports as required.
- Train and mentor new employees or apprentices. Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about their tasks and responsibilities.
What does it take to work for Groome Industrial Service Group?
- Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in using construction or manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have acceptable ID, pass a background check, and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Possession of a TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement.
- Understand verbal and written instructions, basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
- May reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend on occasion.
- Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects frequently.
- Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
