Mobile Fleet Mechanic (Light/Medium Duty Truck)

Ground Logistics is currently seeking a skilled Mobile Fleet Mechanic to maintain our fleet of light and medium duty trucks in the Cumberland, MD area. We are a contractor for FedEx with over 100 step vans, box trucks, and vans operating in Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland. As Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our vehicles to ensure optimal performance and minimal interruptions.

Home Base Location: Cumberland, MD 

Starting Pay: $1,200.00 per week

Schedule: Flexible, availability in mornings and/or evenings necessary, availability on weekends a plus.

Job Information:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake pads, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, like replacement of lights, locks, etc.
• Conduct regular inspections of all vehicles
• Utilize tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix vehicle problems

Requirements:

• Proficiency in light and medium duty truck maintenance and repair
• Experience with various tools used in automotive repair
• Solid mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues efficiently
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
