- Oversee procurement and delivery of critical and long-lead MEP equipment and infrastructure components.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities to ensure systems perform as designed.
- Partner with Facilities Management, Capital Projects, Administration, Faculty, and Department Leadership to align project objectives with institutional priorities.
- Support campus energy efficiency, resiliency, deferred maintenance, and long-term asset management initiatives.
- Lead project closeout efforts, including as-built documentation, training, O&M manuals, warranties, and transition to campus operations teams.
- Mentor junior project managers and provide guidance on MEP best practices, project controls, and technical issues.
Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience managing MEP scopes for higher education, institutional, healthcare, public-sector, or large commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex renovation, infrastructure, and occupied-facility projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building automation, controls, and life safety systems.
- Experience with commissioning, energy-efficient building systems, sustainability initiatives, and campus infrastructure projects preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
