Senior Scheduler

Location: Brooklyn, NY (DUMBO)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote)
Salary: $200,000 – $210,000

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support the planning, development, and management of schedules for large-scale capital construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial high-rise construction and capital projects, with expertise in developing and maintaining complex project schedules, performing schedule analysis, and collaborating with project teams to drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions
• Perform critical path analysis and evaluate schedule impacts related to project changes and delays
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to establish milestones and sequencing plans
• Prepare schedule reports, forecasts, and executive-level presentations
• Support recovery planning, delay analysis, and schedule mitigation efforts
• Verify schedule compliance with project controls standards, contract requirements, and project objectives
• Track key project milestones and provide schedule performance updates to leadership
• Assist with resource loading and long-range planning activities
• Support overall project controls efforts for major capital construction initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
• 10+ years of construction scheduling experience
• Experience supporting large-scale capital projects required
• Experience with commercial high-rise construction projects required
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, project controls, and scheduling best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience performing schedule risk analysis and resource loading
• Knowledge of delay analysis and claims support
• PMI-SP, PSP, or other scheduling-related certifications preferred
• Experience working on complex public-sector or large-scale development projects
