We're looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our small-but-mighty Finance team and take the reins on all things General Ledger. Reporting directly to our Controller, you'll be both a strategic leader and hands-on doer, guiding a high-performing team while rolling up your sleeves to make sure every number tells the right story. You’ll drive accurate financial reporting, ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC standards, and partner across the business to fuel smarter, faster decisions. If you're the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and loves turning complexity into clarity, we’d love to meet you. This role is for candidates based in CA, WA, NV, and CO.

  • Technical Accounting & Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards (US GAAP) and ensure that all accounting policies are in line with industry best practices. Address complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, inventory valuation and stock-based compensation and partner with the controller and external consultants on these issues
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of junior accounting professionals, providing guidance on day-to-day accounting activities and professional development. Foster a culture of collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency
  • Compliance with debt covenants: Manage all aspects of debt compliance in collaboration with the controller, FP&A and the lender
  • Audit Support: Coordinate the external audit process, ensuring timely preparation of audit schedules, responses to auditor inquiries, and resolution of any issues that arise
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including tax, treasury, operations, and Finance systems, to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives. Provide accounting expertise to business partners for decision-making support
  • Ad hoc Analysis and Reporting: Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and business planning

ABOUT YOU

  • 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or public company sectors. Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
