Pay: $21/hour, Non-Exempt

About the Role

The Safety Lead is a vital member of the Fulfillment Center team, responsible for safeguarding the health and well-being of all associates. In this role, you'll develop, implement, and reinforce safety protocols, lead engaging training sessions, and provide hands-on coaching to ensure consistent adherence to safety standards across the facility.

Available Shifts

  • Full-time: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and implement safety protocols across the Fulfillment Center.
  • Lead engaging safety trainings and re-trainings for all FC associates.
  • Coordinate and lead all safety committee meetings for the site
  • Facilitate daily safety discussions at shift start-up meetings.
  • Monitor safety practices and track violations, escalating concerns to site leadership as needed.
  • Participate in safety investigations under the direction of People Experience (HR) and/or Operations Leadership
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling all safety-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and relevant workplace safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of safety-related supplies, including PPE and sanitization materials.
  • Serve as a safety coach to all associates, regardless of reporting lines, promoting a culture of positive reinforcement.
  • Communicate the “what,” “why,” and “how” of safety standards in a clear and accessible manner to all team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

About You:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in FC/warehouse leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Passionate about maintaining a safe environment, consistently enforcing safety policies for all including leadership and visitors.
  • Naturally supports and coaches others, even those outside your direct team, to promote safe practices.
  • Enjoys highlighting and reinforcing positive behaviors; values public acknowledgment of rule-followers.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify and clearly convey safety policies.
  • Highly organized with strong focus on details.
  • PIT certified 
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Drug Screening and Background Check Notice:
