Senior Product Manager

Remote

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants to shape the future of sustainable e-commerce. In this role, you’ll own and drive high-impact initiatives across Grove’s Shopify-based digital platform—helping us deliver a seamless, intuitive, and differentiated shopping experience that delights conscientious consumers, reflects our mission and drives growth.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you’ll set the strategy and roadmap, lead execution, and partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, stakeholders across the company, and external vendors to launch experiences that create meaningful value for our customers and drive transformative outcomes for the business. You’ll lead work spanning our core e-commerce flows, subscriptions, and mobile apps—while driving the discovery and development of innovative new product experiences that set Grove apart and define the category of sustainable e-commerce.

If you're looking for a role where you can move fast, think deeply, lead boldly, and build for good—this is it.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  • Own strategy, planning, and execution for initiatives that improve Grove’s customer experience across web, native apps, backend systems, and 3rd party integrations.
  • Work closely with Design and Engineering to translate vision into customer-facing features that solve our customers’ problems and reflect Grove’s values and business goals.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to identify and prioritize opportunities, shape the roadmap, and make informed product decisions.
  • Partner with third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver high-performing and scalable experiences.
  • Integrate AI into product experiences and workflows where it meaningfully enhances customer value or operational efficiency.
  • Lead prioritization efforts and key product decisions; clearly communicate tradeoffs and decision rationale to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across Analytics, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Happiness, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and impact.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer-facing Product Management, with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Shopify Plus, including custom storefronts, results-driven customer experience optimization, and third-party app integrations.
  • Background working with A/B testing tools and a solid understanding of experimentation design and analysis.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong product and technical foundation—able to balance big-picture vision with detailed execution.
  • Analytical mindset with a comfort level working with both quantitative data (e.g. funnel metrics, retention curves) and qualitative insights (e.g. customer research, usability testing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complexity, drive alignment, and build trusted relationships across the org.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguity—driving progress with limited direction and navigating evolving priorities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authority across technical and non-technical partners.
  • Proactive in adopting and applying AI tools to improve your own product workflows.
  • A collaborative spirit and a desire to work on products that make a difference.

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Passion for sustainable products, mission-driven work, and building thoughtful customer experiences that drive impact.
  • Experience with highly customized Shopify Plus implementations.
  • Experience with subscription-based commerce platforms (e.g. Recharge, Ordergroove, Skio)
  • Familiarity with Shopify ecosystem vendors for mobile apps, search and browse, analytics, CRM, loyalty programs, or reviews.
  • Experience shipping mobile app features and/or managing app store presence.
  • Experience integrating or building consumer-facing AI products, features, or experiences.
  • A demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems and bring structure to ambiguous product spaces.
  • Based in the Bay Area

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
